A trip to the local flea market is always much more fun with a friend or a two! My friends and partners in crime, Marilyn & Karen went with me and we spent the morning hunting for treasures. As you can see I managed to find a few things... I found a guilded mirror for a great price and some great ivy topiarys from a local grower. Karen found this huge ornate frame! Marilyn loves ironestone and found a platter to add to her collection as- well- as this beautiful plant for her backyard. We had a great time and got to see a few old friends. Afterwards we went to a great local cafe that has fabulous breakfast! Friends, flea markets, and a great time had by all!

ReplyDeleteI'm a ceramic artist and was doing research on doll heads mainly because I started making them. I'm not sure how I came to be doing that but I came across this image of your collection and was wondering if you had further information about them. The pieces I'm working on are of older people - not babies but I love the collection you have displayed and was interested in them.
